I’m not one to usually care about Gale or what happens in his life but look at his face here.
He’s seriously so heartbroken over Katniss, he looks hopeless. Liam Hemsworth did great.
It disgusts me that people dislike Gale enough to boo him at premieres. “Gale rhymes with fail.” Are you ten?
Wait some of you actually are.
You’re like
And they’re all like
Then the teacher spots you and is staring at you like
And everyone else is staring at you like
Yeah…I know that feeling…
^OMG
This for me was one of the saddest moments of the movie. In the book we don’t see Katniss act weak, because she doesn’t like to think of herself as weak in any sense. But in the film we see sides of Katniss she doesn’t show us in the books. She’s just a 16 year old girl and she’s seen more horrors and experienced more pain in the last few days of her life than most people experience in their entire lifetimes. And here she has a moment where she just wants to go home. She lost Rue, and she is all alone. And I think she almost gives up here.
But then she learns she can go home with Peeta, and that gives her something to fight for. And it’s just another reason Katniss and Peeta save each other.
